Concept: A 1570s kirtle and fitted gown copied from Lucas De Heere’s drawing of An English Lady and Young Lady

Fabrics: Black wool gabardine (Fashion Fabrics club), green-blue linen (NY Fashion Center), white silk taffeta (Renaissance Fabrics),  linen canvas (William Booth Draper) .

Accessories: Hat (Truly Carmichael), Neck and wrist ruffs (Renaissance Tailor).

Notions: Black silk thread, black silk buttonhole twist,  orange velvet ribbon (custom order from Renaissance Fabrics).
